How Balcony Solar Works

Turn an unused balcony into an everyday energy source

A balcony solar system combines photovoltaic modules, a compatible mounting system, a microinverter and an AC connection. The panels produce direct-current electricity; the microinverter converts it into alternating current for household use.

Three simple stages

  1. Capture: photovoltaic cells convert sunlight into DC electricity.
  2. Convert: a microinverter uses module-level MPPT and converts DC into grid-compatible AC.
  3. Use or store: household loads can consume generation as it is produced; selected storage configurations can retain part of it for later.

What affects performance?

Location, season, balcony orientation, panel angle, shading, temperature and the configured power limit all influence actual output. Product wattage is a rated value, not a promise of constant generation.

Important: Plug-in connection, feed-in limits, registration and professional installation requirements vary by country, utility and property. Confirm the rules for your address before ordering.
