Plan before you mount

Record the balcony dimensions, railing type and material, usable sun-facing area, nearby socket location and cable route. Check the building or tenancy rules and confirm the structure can support the system and local wind loads.

Installation checklist

• Match the mounting kit to the railing or surface.
• Inspect every module, connector, cable and fastener before assembly.
• Secure panels with the specified primary and secondary restraints.
• Keep connectors dry, fully engaged and free from mechanical strain.
• Route cables away from sharp edges, doors, pinch points and walkways.
• Complete electrical connection only in the manner allowed locally.
• Configure monitoring and verify normal operation.

Safety first

Never improvise mounting hardware, drill or modify equipment unless the final product instructions explicitly permit it, or install damaged equipment. Stop work in strong wind or wet conditions. Use a qualified professional whenever local regulations or site conditions require one.
