Choose by system, not by a single number
A useful comparison starts with available space and daytime electricity use. Then compare the system's panel rating, microinverter output, MPPT inputs, mounting method, ingress protection, monitoring and optional storage.
400W, 600W or 800W?
A 400W-class kit suits a compact single-panel starting point. A 600W or 800W-class system can make better use of a larger balcony, subject to local limits and orientation. More rated power does not always mean more usable energy if shade, poor angle or local output restrictions apply.
Do you need storage?
A battery can shift some solar energy from daytime into the evening. It also adds cost, weight and conversion losses. Choose storage after understanding when you use electricity, not simply because a larger capacity is available.

- Which direction does the balcony face?
- How much shade falls across it during the day?
- What railing and mounting conditions are present?
- What plug-in, registration and feed-in rules apply?
- Which exact warranties and certifications apply to the final components?
